Plus: Good location, walkable distance to the city center. Big enough, toilet and room clean and well developed. Minus: Cleaning staff took all my belongings from the locker and put it in a trash bag on the reception, even I wrote in German that I am staying here and not to open and clean the locker. When I saw that the locker is empty, I asked the reception why it was done - thay said that cleaners even don’t speak German in the heart of Germany! Big, big minus for this. Also, strange people speaking romanian language were in the kitchen, opened a fridge and took some bread and other stuff from others. They weren’t hostel guest. Security seems to be the main weakness.

If I knew how good it was, I would have stayed there since the beggining of my trip. Before moving to ayo I spent few days on the very fancy and expensive hotel across the street with a friend. When she left Munchen, I decided to move to the ayo hostel and I dont know why I didnt do it before. One of the greatest hostels I've ever stayed, with a great infrastructure great accomodation and the price was one third of what I was paying (ok, it was a private hotel room - cant compare differente services). But for who's not on a luxury budget, dont doubt about staying here, I would come back any time!

Location was fine, I easily found it and could get there easily from anywhere via the electric scooters in town. Room was fine and beds were comfy but the pillows are quite strange (very large and flimsy) and too soft. Lockers are decent size and under bed storage is large enough for suitcases etc. Shower room and toilet are fine although the shower bracket was broken in my room. The USB and USB-C port above my bed was broken as well.

The location is good, the beds are sturdy and the bathroom is unexpectedly high quality. The rooms also have a separate corridor leading to them, so that if you arrive late you can sort out your stuff there, as well as being a place to leave shoes and outerwear. The rooms are uncharacteristically warm for Germany. The staff speaks proper English, like Habib, who helped me to sort out an issue with my keycard quickly and efficiently.

Two electric fuses on the bed to charge your electronic appliances and more electric ⚡ fuses in the room. A small hall is situated in the room a table and three chairs. It was clean, always hot 🔥 water, always reception, there is a lift, there is a place downstairs a big waiting room full of chairs, tables and fuses to spend your time. 15 minutes walking to the main train station Munchen! Best hard Mattress ever!!
