I was in a 6 bed dorm and the layout of the space, and the furnishings, were outstanding! There is a door (which needs a little adjusting as it sticks) between beds and entry/bathroom which really helps to block noise, a coat stand, privacy screens at the head of each bed with hooks for coats, etc, lockers as well as under-bed storage AND another space where you can sit and chill, but extra luggage can also be stashed there. On top of that, there's a little seating area by the window with a table and 2 chairs and the beds are solid and really well designed with lots of storage and great lights that don't blind everyone else if you choose to read a little later. The mattress was very comfortable, and they had European pillows (which I love) instead of those super-long ones (that seem quite pointless). The lobby was also attractive and had a seating area with charging ports

The renovations are really, REALLY making a difference! I stayed in room 424, and I was delighted with the cleanliness of the room, the bathroom as well as the high quality of the linens used throughout my stay. The staff were excellent. Everyone was helpful, and it was clear that they enjoyed their job! The renovations have also produced my new favorite place to relax and hang out: Skybar! It's on the fifth floor and accessible using the north elevator. There is a beautiful view of the city, and there's even a view of the Alps when looking south! The renovation has made an enormous difference already, and it's not yet complete. The new computerized login system looks very promising, and the updates to the lobby are appreciated. Great job. I've stayed here many times, and I'm happy to (for the first time) give it 5 stars. Congratulations!

Location is excellent, pretty close to the centre, you can either walk or take public transport, the tram stop is just outside the hotel. The hotel is cleaned daily, and we had towels in the room, even though it said it is charged additionally. The hotel was full of mostly young people, but there was no problem with the noise or anything like that. The heating in the room didn't work properly the first night, but the problem was solved the next day. Check in and check out extremely easy and quick.

Depending on the room you are asigned, it will be like a little laberynth to get to your room, but it is signposted for you not to get lost. The bathroom was spacious and very clean, the shower has no door so be careful you may get the floor wet. The hostel gives you bed linen and towel for free, that is what I liked the most. The breakfast cost 11€ and it is very complete. The hostel is conveniently located almost in front of the MarsStrasse Tram stop.
